SLEEP NO MORE

Sleep No More is a series of photography that seeks to explore and present the loneliness and isolation that is felt when someone is awake in a world that is sound asleep. We take our surroundings for granted as, after all, we see them every day. However, trundling through them alone allows them to manifest a little differently. From personal experience, it can almost feel like a parallel world in which life ceased, yet I remain. The imagery presented was captured as a form of self-medicative acceptance that although at times sleepless nights may feel lonely, it most certainly does not mean that I am alone.

The photographic series can be viewed in the gallery below, alongside the accompanying short film, book, and exhibition.
