"Since 2000, a quarter of pubs have closed in the UK, totalling more than 13,000 locations." We are living in a time that is seeing many public houses close their doors due to lockdowns, but the issue has been circulating far longer than this year. If proper aid is not offered to pubs during periods in which they are asked to temporarily shut, then the coronavirus will claim more than lives, but also culture itself.
